in 2023, oreo launched an oreo that was more oreo than oreo ever had ever oreoed. it had oreo flavored creme and 3x more creme, which is more than a double stuffed if you want to get technical. It was so meta, we had no other option than to launch in the metaverse.
We had a hand in creating every cookie, tree, pathway, power-up, noise, maze, launch pad, giant glass of milk and flying jetski within the world – literally building the world from the cookie up.
There were 6 levels that challenged players to complete a task before moving on to the next level. Stacking cookies, a cookie maze, and feeding OREOs into a giant mouth were just some of the challenges users faced. It all ended with getting dunked in a glass of milk…everyone’s dream right?
I got pretty good at using a VR headset, but hope to never attend a meeting in the metaverse again.
